Dude, Where's My Update?

Hello there, MMORPG addicts.

Sorry I haven't had anything to show for a bit. I've been trying to prepare for the holiday season (no, I'm not secretly traumatized by Christmas like Noah), and dealing with issues trying to translate the Main Adventure and prepare maps (brain isn't giving me the chems I need, no inspiration, DungeonDraft is extremely nice but trying to align stuff to a hex grid is still more complex than it needs to be), as well as issues with my editing software (in particular, I have one FWO booklet that crashes if I edit the sectioning in any way.)

I have, however, been made aware of a $40 update to my editing software that introduces some vital new features. In the interest of reducing crashes on my end, I'll be looking to change how the book is organized, including separating the various sections into separate files. As part of this process I might as well do another editing pass to catch typos, rephrase stuff, etc.

Some more game-related changes might also be necessary. While the Japanese causes certain skills to be affected by immunities (and similar passive features) based on their name, I wonder if a formal "tag" system like Pathfinder 2E might be more appropriate. This particular change isn't a given, but maybe I will look at how Skill/item/enemy blocks are formatted as a whole.

Furthermore, given the several-hundred-page PDF, an online SRD might be in order to match the Japanese site, or at the very least provide something SFW that should be more approachable for an audience that isn't already deeply into the whole "playing an RPG where I get to simulate sex with concerningly young-looking people" thing. (Like it or not, this is an issue that'll pop up if FWO grows more popular with the anglosphere.)

Maybe a wiki would be appropriate? Could give people a space to work on alternative languages, post their homebrew, and otherwise populate formatting changes across multiple pages. Administrating such a public space sounds like a nightmare, though.

I'll think on some of this stuff and maybe check in with some experts to see what advice they can give. If you're an expert on some of these topics yourself, feel free to flag me down and maybe we'll talk.
