Update 1: Fixes and Master Class Adjustments


So here's the first update for the English translation of FWO.  Still trying to figure out a few different things, like how I want the CSS for enemy/item stuff to work. Layout and design troubles aside, this update is mostly focused on implementing some balance changes from the Japanese version. The first few bits of setting fiction have also been added, albeit with minimal editing.

Editing

Flora Fairy

The Flora Vanguard skill previously referred to a statblock that didn't exist. This statblock has been added to the text of the skill.

Master Knight

Removed some text that was copy-pasted from the Sorcery Gear page.

Maps

Several of the maps from the Japanese version have been reproduced here to serve as placeholders for eventual remakes. Still exploring different styles for the map remakes, unfortunately!

Translation

Added some in-setting fiction, "Noah's Genesis (part 1)". and "Kamuy's Genesis".

Changed "Matore" to "Mattle" to match text provided in one of the Japanese version's seasonal events.

Changes from Japanese Version

Centurion

  • Vanguard's Vow's FP cost reduction has been doubled  to SLv * 2.
  • Triumphant Sword's FP recovery has been doubled to 10 FP each.
  • Advanced Guard's protection against adjacent enemies is now SLv * 20 instead of SLv * 15.
  • Phalanx Storm's cooldown has been reduced to battle.

Executioner

  • Infinite Battler's FP recovery has been doubled to 10 FP each.
  • Deadly Addition has been reduced to a maximum of 1 SLv (previously 3), and Critical Range bonus has been changed to 4 (previously SLv * 2).
  • Both of Murder Press's damage bonuses have been increased by SLv * 5.
  • Guillotine Slasher's damage bonus has been increased by SLv * 5.
  • Death Stroke's damage bonus has been increased by SLv * 5.
  • Firing Squad now applies to all Shooting Attacks on the following Action Phase.
  • Stop and Break now only requires Deadly Addition (previously Deadly Addition 3.)

Master Knight

  • Massive Counter's damage bonus has been increased by SLv * 3.
  • Lordly Shield's damage reduction has been increased by a flat 10.

Excel Gear

  • Solid Attack's bonus now extends to all physical attacks.
  • Lizard System grants a +2 bonus to Movement.
  • Storm System grants a +2 bonus to Evasion.
  • Draco System grants +10 to all Defenses (in addition to Fire immunity.)
  • Infinite Laser's prerequisite has been changed to Laser Blade (previously Laser Blade 3).

Treasure Hunter

  • Remove Trap now  provides bonuses to Trap Box
  • Wild Cooking's healing has been increased by SLv * 10.
  • Bad Effect no longer has a cooldown.

Arch-Mage

  • Added Basic Magic Master, a new skill.

Savior

  • Affection's recovery bonus has been increased by SLv * 2.
  • Resurrection has been revised to state that non-dead targets can be chosen.
  • Yggdrasil has been revised to state that non-dead targets can be chosen.

Fortune Teller

  • The World Revolving now only requires Devil's Whisper 1 instead of Devil's Whisper 3.
  • Light of the Sun has had its fatigue reduced by 5 FP.
  • Twinkling Star has had its fatigue reduced by 5 FP.
  • Death's Blow has had its damage increased by SLv * 10.

Dominator

  • Candy Catcher grants a constant Defense boost when wearing certain accessories.

Enchanter

  • Sacred Edge's damage and recovery have been increased by SLv * 5.
  • Miasmic Edge's damage and recovery have been increased by SLv * 5.

Seraph

  • Jet Stream's damage bonus has been increased by SLv * 5.

Life-Eater

  • Crazy Spice has had an additional effect added: allies other than yourself recover 20 FP.
